Seeking God’s Face

I have been asked what does it mean to ‘seek God’s Face?” So let me explain.

How does one seek the face of a God that is invisible? First we must understand that God’s face is not God’s hand. God’s hand contains judgment as He rules on behalf on the righteous or if He denies the unrighteous. God’s right hand contains the Power and Authority of His Words, His Commands and His Guidance.  The Word is His Right Hand. Jesus the Word that He speaks is His Right Hand and is considered the Seat of His Divine Authority.

However God’s face is a different matter. Moses spoke to God face to face. In order to seek God’s face, you must see what He doesn’t agree with in your life. To do this you must look at where your life and beliefs don’t line up with Him. In other words you must believe as Jesus believed His Father. You must do what Jesus did to back up what His Father in heaven said. It is impossible to back up what anyone says, unless you actually do what they said to do. Your ‘doing’ is what confirms that you believe what God said. Furthermore, in the ‘doing’ the motives of why you are doing should not be human centered. That means the person you are helping or the reason you are helping shouldn’t be spoken about, in order that what you are doing is stored in heaven. In this way you end up doing things for God and not for yourself. In this way you are actually helping others live for God and you are fighting the pride that exists when you help others.

But I digress. In order to face God, you must first face yourself. You cannot see God without the true, unblemished, unwrinkled Word of God. That means the Word must be pure and the intent must be in agreement with the reason God gives it out. You must ask God for His Sword. His Sword is the Word of God because the True Word contains the Power in that Sword. That power is of God the Father and no man. That power will cut and divide the false Word from the True Word. That power will reveal to you who you really are in His face. When it cuts, it will show you that you need to humble yourself, so that you can stand in the Presence of God.

If you have been praying for things that are not in agreement with God, then He will not give them to you. Regardless of how much money you have been taught to falsely give, He will not give it to you. It doesn’t mean that Satan can’t give them to you, but God will not. That is why it is imperative to seek God’s face. You must seek The Truth about God and not the misconstrued Word.  Most people pray for material things. God however says to be content with what you have.

Matthew 6:25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

But still many churches are focused on business, entrepreneurship and money and then disguise it as some kind of ministry.  They tell you to sow for your dream. That is perverted Word. Notice Jesus said even the birds “DO NOT SOW OR REAP OR STORE AWAY IN BARNS.” Jesus didn’t want you sowing for material things, or reaping material things or storing them. In fact He called people who did this “PAGANS.”

It doesn’t mean we don’t give, it means that we don’t sow for things or needs. In fact we prove we are searching for God’s Kingdom when we do the opposite.

Jesus didn’t want us to be a “JUDAS.” Remember that Judas combined The Word who is Jesus with money as well. In the end He sold the Word of God for 20 pieces of silver.

To seek material things is to seek God’s hand and to seek His power. To seek God’s face we must seek first seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Jesus is the Righteousness of God and the Word who is Jesus ; the same Word that Jesus spoke reveal who the Invisible God truly is. So in order to seek God’s face, you must seek His kingdom as opposed to Satan’s kingdom which is earthly needs and desires. When you seek where you are wrong about what God spoke, you will see what He is saying. His Word comes from His mouth which is on the face of God. You must ask yourself, if you had the chance could you look God straight in the eye and say you know Him? Or would you claim hearsay?

So in order to seek God’s face, you must first humble yourself. Then you must pray so that you are able to seek His face. God wants you to do this so that you will acknowledge your wicked ways by first looking at them and acknowledging what they are, so that you can turn from them. In other words, find out from God Himself, where the misunderstanding’s of His Word is present. God will hear from Heaven and forgive you, so confirm that your misunderstanding has been corrected by healing your land.

II Chronicles 7:14 NKJV
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

God has as belief system and so does Satan. Whom do you serve and humble yourself to?
