God loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should have eternal life.
People often take this verse and automatically think that God gave His Son to be crucified. Although Christ was crucified, it is not what the verse is speaking about. God loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son. His Son is called “The Word of God.” Therefore if you believe in The Word of God sent from God, you will know your Father. That is because Jesus was sent so that you could know your Father. He knows how to show you who your real Father is. In by knowing your Father you will have Eternal Life. John 17:3 New International Version (NIV)3 Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent…..Therefore God sent His Word in the bodily form of His Son, so that you could know the Him. For you cannot know your Father in heaven without the true Word of God that came from Him in heaven. Therefore knowing Christ without the intention of getting to know the Father in heaven is only a partial journey. In order to continue the journey you must read, and do the Word in order for the revelation of God to firmly take place.
